We're looking for a Commercial Assistant to join our Transportation team based in Northamptonshire to assist the Commercial Department with administrative duties whilst gaining an insight into how the Commercial and Finance teams operate.

You must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and looking for progression. Location:
Brixworth, Northamptonshire - office-based role 5 days per week


Contract:
Permanent, flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know


Salary:
£24k - £28k + Pension + Benefits


Responsibilities
As Commercial Administrator, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting with administrative duties relating to the contract.

Your day to day will include:

  • Sending out and managing subcontract enquiries
  • Assisting the estimators in preparing quotations
  • Downloading and managing documents from client to Kier systems
  • Inputting subcontractor payments and liabilities into the costing system (Causeway)
  • Supporting Quantity Surveyors with general administrative tasks, with a great focus on Microsoft Excel usage, producing and maintaining data tables / trackers, as well as data analysis and cost value reconciliations (CVR's)

Who are we looking for?
This role of Commercial Administrator is great for you if you have:

  • Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level
  • Pivot Tables, Vlookup, formula, SUMIF.
  • Ability to work to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Willingness to progress
