£ £11 per day

8:30 - 15:30 / Monday to Friday / Full Time

The headteacher of a wonderful, diverse, and modern primary school in the Roath area of Cardiff is searching for a sports teaching assistant to support in the year 5 class alongside a young boy with additonal needs.

The role will consist of supporting the boy in the classroom with his schoolwork, reading, numeracy and literacy, however the majority of the role will involve taking the boy out of the classroom to play a variety of sports.

He loves any sort of sports,so if you do too, you will be a great fit There will also be an opportunity to lead the physical education lessons and after school sports clubs too if this is something you woulod be interested in

Many children do not have the best starts in life and don't have any role models in their life, therefore being a consistent and friendly face for the child is a huge part of this role.

It will be extremely beneficial if you are able to easily create relationshipswith young children.

Alongside the extensive support from us at Teaching Personnel, you will be supported thoroughly within the classroom and throughout the day by the class teacher and the senior leadership team in the school.

This is a great way to develop your teaching, coachingand engagement skills.

Experience working with children in a professional setting or a personal setting:

A keen sports person or have a passion for playing sports and coaching young children:
A can do, positive attitude
Drive and enthusiasm to make a difference everyday to the child's school life
Commitment to the role as consistency for the child is essential
