What we are looking for
It is an exciting time to join our
Tenant Services Team, part of our wider
Housing Directorate, as
we are expanding and we are currently looking for
two customer focused Administration and

Technical Support Officers to join the
Neighbourhood Team. To be successful you will share

About the role
In this varied and busy administrative role, you will:

  • Raise cases onto our bespoke housing system and conduct triage calls to assess priority and schedule visits when possible.
  • Take a variety of phone calls from different sources.
  • Manage the garage rent accounts to maximise income and carry out a variety of tasks relevant to managing our garage letting.
  • Work collaboratively with other services, teams and partners to ensure the appropriate support and advice is given.
  • Manage a busy workload and prioritise the varied tasks,
  • Contribute to team and service development.

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organised administrator with strong communication skills to fit
in with our busy, dedicated team.

You are likely to have a relevant qualification at NVQ level 3 or have gained equivalent knowledge
through experience of working in a similar role.


A good communicator with empathy, patience and a calm nature, you will be able to identify challenging and sensitive situations through probing questions, sensitivity and good listening skills.


Proficient IT skills are essential as well as the ability to focus on a task, whilst dealing with a busy workload that requires good time management skills and prioritisation.
