    Applications are invited from excellent and experienced middle or senior leaders looking for the next step in their development. The school has restructured at a senior leadership level and is looking for an Assistant Headteacher to support the senior leadership strategically across the whole school, taking specific responsibility:

    *For children looked after (CLA) pupils by being the Designated Teacher

    *For leading and organising Annual Reviews and EHCP reviews

    *For organising supply staff across both school sites

    As well as supporting the day to day running of the school. There will also be a teaching expectation.

    Required :

    *Recent experience of working successfully as a senior or middle leader in an SEND environment

    *High expectations and determination to raise standards;

    *Have a thorough knowledge of the SEND Reforms and implications for staff, pupils and their families;

    *Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of what constitutes high quality teaching and learning.

    *Proven ability in mentoring, coaching and leading staff.

    *Be imaginative, innovative, resourceful and decisive.

    *Have the ability to think strategically and creatively.

    *Excellent communication and team work skills;

    *The ability to work closely with parents, governors, outside agencies and the wider community.
