Exciting & varied opportunity for an experienced PLC/SCADA Software Engineer with experience to work within a growing Industrial Automation company in Arbroath, Angus.


Salary:
£50,000+


Electrical & Automation Engineering Team Lead:

As a key member of a small innovative team, they will lead their small design team who are involved in different roles, from concept development and detailed electrical design to software development and system commissioning; as well as project co-ordinationand leadership the role would involve training.


Requirements:

Essential

  • 20+ years' experience of working with Automation systems using PLC, HMI, and SCADA software
  • Siemens TIA Portal
  • Allan Bradley Logix
  • Other PLC Brands also can be useful
  • Integration of networking & Data systems
  • VFD
  • Electrical & Instrumentation Systems Engineering Qualifications & Experience
  • Experienced in use of Autocad, Eplan or similar design tools.
  • Familiarity with machinery safety issues such as, SIL & Design Risk assessments as well as ATEX regulations will also be advantageous
  • Experienced in commissioning and fault finding on automated systems.
