Based in Central Lancashire, this highly acquisitional IT based organisation are seeking a talented finance professional to join an expanding group in a newly established role.

A hybrid position, leading on the management accounting for a newly acquired entity, this role is also tasked to add value across the wider group.

Your New Role As Management Accountant:

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for the production of management accounts and meaningful management reporting for a newly acquired business unit to the group.

As Management Accountant assisting with internal and external audit requirements, this varied role will include stakeholder engagement providing and communicating key performance information to internal personnel while meeting the accounting requirements set by group.

Also supporting other business units, this is a varied and interesting role.
Support local regional based Finance teams during the month/ quarter and year end close process and quarterly forecasts.

• Prepare monthly & quarterly Portfolio management packs with commentary for the Executive and Senior management teams.
• Prepare quarterly consolidated Portfolio forecast reports for the Executive management team.
• Prepare monthly management fee allocations and recharges.
• Prepare quarterly forecast for management fee allocations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly accounting and reporting for the Portfolio investment entity (UK based).
• Standardisation & optimisation of Accounting /reporting practices and systems efficiency
• Ad-hoc project work.

Responsible for statutory financial reporting, tax and audit for the Portfolio investment entity (UK based).

Audit and internal controls:

• Lead and co-ordinate internal audit/peer review process.

To be considered you shall be an experienced Finance professional with high integrity and energy.

Driven and self-motivated to succeed you shall be either a first/second time practice mover, or an experienced Management Accountant in your own right.

Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) with relevant experience in the areas listed on the job description, your experience will also have provided you with personal achievements which can demonstrate your ability and skills to add value in your role.

A newly established role, this position will remain an integral part of the finance team in the UK and will also provide exposure to the international organisation.
