    We are recruiting for a VP of Grants & Funding to join a fast-paced growing, professional team. The successful candidate must have a proven background in government grant applications in either/ or maritime, transport. renewable energy, and innovation (preferably).

    Want to assist an exciting innovative, smart infrastructure venture that is passionate and determined to accelerate the new world of clean energy, transportation and maritime to net zero & to meet ESG targets?

    As a group, ELIRE has accelerated very quickly over the last months to position our ventures with world-class partners designing our infrastructure solutions (Smart Hubs) critical to the ecosystem shift to adopt new technologies. ELIRE Infra has a long pipeline of exciting projects from London, UK, UAE, Nordics and the Mediterranean.

    Essential Requirements

    ● Experience and track record in successful 5-7 figure grant applications.

    ● Experience in researching potential grants.

    ● Meticulous and diligent attention to detail.

    ● Able to work with multiple teams internally and externally.

    ●Can work effectively in remote teams and are a self-starter with a willingness to take initiative

    ● Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

    ● Ability to plan, manage and review significant scale (£1M-20M max) projects.

    ● Excellent communication skills, computer literacy and skilled in using modern software applications to work quickly and transparently.

    ● Willingness to be flexible within the commercial team; sharing skills, commercial opportunities and responsibilities.

    ● A commitment to the mission.

    Responsibilities

    ● Research potential funding areas including industry initiatives (maritime, zero-emission, clean energy, smart city, ports, etc), Innovate UK/ innovation business grants, foundations, business accelerators and academic collaborations across UK and EU.

    ● This research would include networking and it is expected that you would come with some links into networks already.

    ● Planning, leading on, submitting and reviewing grant applications.

    ● Managing and communicating with cross-industry teams e.g. our C level, engineering, technical team, finance and projects.

    ● Managing the bid application process from start to finish, while keeping all key stakeholders informed.

    ● Creating any graphical data that may be needed e.g. GANNT and organisational charts.

    ● Liaising with the domain expert teams to gather leads, and marketing team to publicise submissions, and wins.

    ● Working with projects during periods of the year when grant resource is not needed.
