Essential skills and experience

Demonstrate journalistic skills: writing; editing and headlines
Show experience of using content management/publishing systems, preferably Umbraco
Have organisational abilities: maintain filing systems; keep forward look to plan ahead and schedule content
Track and measure web outputs and act on results to ensure continuous improvement. Experience of Google analytics.
Demonstrate creativity with proven ability to maintain and further improve the quality and look of the website; maintain branding, use of images and variety and quality of content
Have experience of implementing accessibility measures to ensure inclusivity
Work as part of a team, to maintain and build new internal and external relationships to help maintain and grow registered users of the website
C# coding

Nice-to-have skills and experience

Additional content delivery skills such as photography and video skills.
Experience of making/delivering podcasts
General marketing and communication skills and an interest in contributing to other communication projects over and above the website
