    Data Reporting Analyst opportunity to join a global financial services organisation based in Edinburgh.

    The role will be an initial 14-month Fixed Term Contract, with hybrid working. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Developer, and Alteryx.

    Responsibilities:

    Creating and maintaining reports using Crystal Reports and/or SQL, as well as creating stored procedures, functions, and views.

    Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate and/or calculate information to fulfil data and reporting requirements.

    Use of Alteryx to assist with creating and maintaining reports.

    Work with report requesters to gather data and reporting requirements.

    Understand and complete report writing process.

    Create, maintain and support new and existing complex reports.

    Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and kept up to date.

    Providing support for UAT of Systems Development.

    Assisting in the preparation of regulatory reporting on behalf of the business.

    Workflow and mailbox monitoring.

    Managing scheduling of new and existing reports.

    Maintain SharePoint requests and circulate communications business-wide reporting / scheduling and self-service updates.

    Experience required:

    Advanced SQL skills.

    Knowledge of Crystal Report.

    Good knowledge of Alteryx.

    Ideally have experience with Power BI.

    Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Capacity to work unsupervised and under tight deadlines.

    Strong communication skills.

    Numerate with competent system skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.

    High level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling significant volumes of data.
