Main purpose of job:
To ensure the right products are received stored and accounted for at all Springcare sites.
To liaise with all the Homes to ensure that all empty bedrooms are equipped and to a high standard od décor.
To work with all Maintenance team members to provide an excellent serviceDepartment:

Required to travel and also work at other Company locations across the Group Position reports to: Maintenance Director
Position is responsible for:

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- To bring in a system so that we can have a 'live asset' list across all our 16 Care Homes plus Staff Accommodation and Head Office
- Once the system is in place ensure that all goods are correctly added to stock noting any returns and process orders
- Working closely with internal and sometimes external customers to resolve queries in a timely and accurate manner
- Leading all the Homes through monthly stock & inventory checks, producing accurate and timely reporting and management information
- Continually improving accuracies, operations, processes, promoting best practice, reducing waste and cost from all areas possible
- Organising the Warehouse so that we can run an efficient and effective stock room.
- Repair equipment and upcycle where able and get rid of any equipment that can not be reused.
- Oversee all health and safety and make sure best practices are adhered to within the Warehouse
- Cleaning of equipment and stock in accordance with infection control / decontamination procedures before re-distribution within the Group
- Investigate the reasons for any loss of stock and addressing these
- To ensure that all tasks are undertaken in accordance with Health & Safety requirements, using appropriate signage
- To ensure that all equipment is maintained in clean, safe and serviceable condition, in accordance with the manufacturers recommended guidelines.
- To have knowledge of COSHH regulations and knowledge of products used in relation to COSHH.
- To be aware of the need for safety always and never to leave equipment unattended
- To be aware of the policies relating to Health & Safety, fire prevention, action in the event of a fire and all other policies which relate to the well
- To report to the Maintenance Director, any breaches of Company Policy of breach of Health & Safety legislation that could be detrimental to colleagues, service users or visitors to any of Springcare Properties.
- To be aware of policies relating to Health and Safety, COSHH, fire prevention, action in the event of a fire and all other policies which relate to the well-being of the Service Users and fellow staff members.
- To attend training as required.
