Audit Project Administrator/CoordinatorTop-tier professional services firm requires new Audit Project Coordinator for its successful and growing Newcastle-based delivery centre that serves internal and external customers throughout the UK.
Working from a large city centre office, serving fantastic clients and a wider national team, you will provide day to day support to audit teams, their activities and service delivery of audit engagements, including both financial analysis & general administration.
_As Audit Project Coordinator your key engagement administration and non-technical project coordination responsibilities will include:_
- Leading with specific portfolio management
- Working with SAP operations and finance system
- Designing and operating centralised processes and procedures
- Understanding the importance of Risk to support audit teams to complete client acceptance procedures
- Working with resourcing and scheduling teams
- Playing a key role in the project management of the audit set up cycle
- Working closely with Account Support colleagues across the UK
- Working closely with overseas teams, delegating routine admin tasks supervising and monitor work, maintaining overall responsibility for task completion
_As Audit Project Coordinator you will need:_
- Proven Project Management skills with an understanding of Account Management, preferably with experience in a Financial Services (FS) or professional services environment
- The ability to multitask and deal with a wide and varied workload and during key busy periods, prioritising and completing projects to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of work
- Strong customer service focus and ability to anticipate team/client requirements
- Numeracy skills and the ability to learn and understand calculation of financial measures, ideally tracking actual project costs against budget
- High level of competency in MS Office with advanced level MS Excel and a keen desire to learn
- Strong communication skills, specifically questioning, challenging and confidence to approach stakeholders of all seniority
- Education to 'A' Levels standard and/or HND/degree qualified preferred
