Description

This is an important role where you will assist our maintenance manager to ensure our homes are safe and presentable at all times.

Duties and responsibilities:

To maintain the grounds and ensure the external aspects of the property are kept to a high standard
Assist in completing inhouse projects within the homes.
Be competent in the use of portable power tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
Assemble, repair, and fix furniture.
Assist in the maintenance of roofs, floors, windows, doors, locks, and other building facilities.
Unblocking of drains, clearing waste pipes, and cleaning up when required.
Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
Understand maintenance issues and their level of urgency.
Paint and decorate buildings, facilities, and furniture; order items and perform touch ups to the internal and external walls of the properties.
Basic general maintenance.

You will need to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to be a self-starter, with the motivation to ensure that all of our home's facilities are in good working order.

You will be provided with all necessary tools and a van to use within working hours.

Salary:
£10.75 per hour
