Description
We are currently seeking an
1st Line Technician for one of the fastest growing and award-winning travel insurance brokers.

You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of the service desk offering phone, remote, and on-site supportto schools and business.


Requirements:


As a 1st Line Technician, you will be tasked with the following:

  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
  • Ensuring the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
  • Provide a high degree of customer service for all support issues, onsite or remotely
  • Visiting customer's sites on a regular basis, acting as the first point of contact for technical support issue

The key things we're looking for from our 1st Line Technician:

  • In-depth knowledge of Windows,User administration via Office 365, AzureAD and Active Directory
  • Install/upgrade software on user's PCs and laptops where required. Minor hardware intervention (battery, RAM module, or SSD replacement)?
  • At least 2 years experience in a technical support role
  • Practical experience with internet and network security protocol
  • User hardware and software issue resolution, with the drive to investigate and resolve if a solution is not immediately available through the IT teams
