At the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, the Consultant would join the Arthroscopy group within the Large Joints department. The current team comprises 6 colleagues.

The department undertakes a comprehensive range of knee and shoulder surgical procedures. The candidate will need to have sufficient experience in osteotomy work around the knee as well as Patello-Femoral soft tissues procedures. It would be highly desirable for candidate to exhibit interest and experience in cartilage regeneration techniques. A flexible approach to working with colleagues and other members of the Multidisciplinary team is expected to ensure maximal efficiency within the department.

The individual appointed to the post will have competed orthopaedic training and have completed or be undertaking a training Fellowship in soft tissue Arthroscopy surgery. Flexible and less than full-time working can easily be accommodated.
