    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Development Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for classic cars and an interest in the innovative field of electric vehicles. This role involves the assembly of original and newly designed systems and vehicles, assisting in testing, and ensuring that all processes meet the highest automotive quality standards. You will join us in playing a crucial role in transforming visionary designs into tangible, cutting-edge electric classics.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot test assemblies and vehicles according to engineering specifications.
    • Fabricate simple parts, create simple wiring harnesses, and perform general assembly tasks with precision and attention to detail.
    • Work closely with the engineering team to refine assembly processes and techniques for improved efficiency and quality.
    • Conduct comprehensive testing of electric powertrain systems and components, providing detailed feedback for enhancements.
    • Manage inventory of parts, consumables, and tools, ensuring optimal levels are maintained for uninterrupted operations.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards in the workshop, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Extensive experience working with cars, ideally classic, with a strong understanding of their mechanical and electrical systems.
    • Experience or a strong interest in electric vehicles and their powertrain systems is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in fabricating simple parts, making wiring harnesses, and conducting general automotive assembly tasks.
    • Familiarity with automotive quality standards and the ability to consistently meet these benchmarks.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
    • Excellent organisational skills, with the capability to manage inventory and maintain a tidy and efficient workspace.
    • A valid driving license and the ability to handle vehicles with care and precision.
