Liability Claims Handler

Location:
Manchester or Essex

Salary:
£27,000 - £30,000

Barker Munro Recruitment is delighted to once again be working with this successful Insurance organisation who are currently looking to fill the role of Commercial Liability Claims Handler.

You can be based within either the Essex or Manchester branch.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Liability Claims Handler:

Manage a caseload of commercial claims
Make relevant liability enquiries using appropriate methods
Evaluate quantum by gathering relevant evidence
Communicate liability decisions and negotiate settlement with authority level
Review Claims regularly using diary system

Requirements:

Experience of handling Claims from either a broker, insurer or loss adjusting background
Property and/or Liability Claims knowledge
Negotiation and influencing skills
Strong communication skills
Able to build strong relationships
