KAP Technical are working with a established world leader in its specialised field of non-destructive instrumentation they also design and build automated machines.

THE PRIMARY DUTIES FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE:

• Engineering Design, liaising with R&D and Production Departments
• Designing new laboratory and field equipment associated with coring and core analysis.
• Modifying existing designs
• Generating engineering drawings using 'SolidWorks' ready for component and system manufacture either in house or through external suppliers
• Working closely with other engineers in the design, development, and manufacture of new equipment

The candidate should be educated to degree level in an engineering subject and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a design and engineering role. Proficiency in the use of 'SolidWorks' is preferable for this role as all our existing drawings are in this format. A good working knowledge of the performance characteristics of a variety of materials is essential, principally, aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, and plastics
