Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Site Manager to be a key part of our Surrey Team, representing our client, to take ownership of quality standards, resourcing and reporting of any defects or delays to Project Manager so that customer expectations are met.

As part of your role, AV Site Manager will have the understanding to follow schematics; cable schedules, site plans, scope of works and drawings and perform the lead engineering role where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities;Managing all aspects as AV Site Manager of the on-site installation team from first fix to commissioningEnsuring that the AV system is installed in accordance with the project Scope of works and or brief and functioningResource planning including project updates, risk reporting, logistics & consumable requests, and on-site resourcesRepresenting the PM in their absence and sign off for completion of small projects or where delegatedClear and concise communication both internal and external, and attending coordination meetings where appropriateMaintaining H&S files and safe systems of work for the project and conducting H&S awareness briefingsQuality assurance to include reviews of installation activitiesDesirable Skills;The ideal AV Site Manager will have working knowledge of current AV systems, associated IT elements and their installation (including AMX, Crestron, Extron, audio DSP, Video conferencing, etc.)Technical knowledge of AV equipment, design concepts and schematic drawingsUnderstanding of client needs, room environments and useAdditional Skills;Excellent organisational skillsExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful approachAdministration skills including typing and reporting using Office applicationsThe ability to deliver under pressure with minimum supervisionTo communicate effectively with people at all levelsA positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering the roleExperience of meeting targets and deadlines and working under pressure
