• Finance Assistant

Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park.

Covering 823 miles of diverse landscape, the Park is home to over 26,000 people, the highest mountain in Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.

We are now looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 21 hours per week.

• As a Finance Assistant, you will assist in the delivery and maintenance of our financial accounting and information management systems.

Processing our income transactions, you will ensure records on our financial systems are correct and deal with debt recovery as necessary, inputting monthly travel expense claims and giving general help on relevant financial arrangements.

You will also be responsible for recording, banking and the general control of cash and remittances received in our Headquarters.

Reconcile the income received in the main financial ledger

• Assist with the daily treasury management process
• Undertake monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of our annual Statement of Accounts

To be considered as a Finance Assistant, you will need:

• The ability to communicate effectively in Welsh and English
• Experience working in a finance environment
• Experience and understanding of computerbased accounting techniques
