    Bletchley Park is a vibrant heritage attraction, open daily to visitors, revealing the secrets and telling fascinating stories of the secret British World War Two codebreaking operations.

    We are growing our HR function and are looking for an experienced Payroll & Benefits Officer to join us.

    Reporting to the Head of HR, the Payroll & Benefits Officer will support the day-to-day delivery of the Trust's payrolls and benefit schemes.

    Our payroll is managed in-house and in this role, you will be responsible for processing both the weekly and monthly payrolls.

    You will complete the process from start to finish, from calculating payments and holiday entitlement, inputting and amending payments, and running reports to submitting information to the HMRC.

    You will also administer the Trust's pension and benefits schemes, liaising with external providers when needed.

    As a team player working alongside a small team, you will also support general HR administration and the delivery of team social activities, as and when needed.

    To be successful in this role, you will have demonstratable experience in payroll processing, and good understanding of payroll regulations, including PAYE, NI and statutory payments.

    You will be IT proficient, with excellent knowledge of Excel, and will be confident in using payroll processing and pension software.

    Knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll would be an advantage.
    A qualification in payroll/pensions would be beneficial, however, we would also welcome applications with relevant work-based experience.

    This is a part time role of 22.Working as part of our brilliant HR team, you will be based on-site at Bletchley Park, Milton Keynes (MK3 6EB).

    The salary is £18,300 per annum, based on £30,500pa FTE, rising to £19,200pa, £32,000pa FTE post probation.
