- To ensure all wiring, soldering and electrical looming of assemblies is completed, on time and in-line with delivery schedules whilst ensuring the highest quality IPC 620 standards are maintained.
- To maintain a good knowledge in the use of crimp tools, crimps, receptacle, sleeving, connectors and heatshrink materials.
- To have a good understanding of electrical drawings and to be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and General Assembly instructions.
- To have good problem solving abilities, working within an evolving process, generating innovative ideas and ensuring any design or build issues are highlighted to Production/Design Engineering.
- To assist the development and implementation of standard operating procedures in a lean manufacturing cell, ensuring prototypes are transferred smoothly into production.
- To help and support others with training when possible by passing on knowledge and skills.
- To be able to carry out duties alone or as part of a small team.
- To ensure the working area is a safe and clean environment in compliance with the 6S, best practice and health & safety policies.

Job Purpose:
This role is part of Saab Seaeye and you will be at the forefront of subsea robotic technology.
Your focus will be working on the development and productionisation of our new robotic Work class vehicle. You will be required to carry out wiring and build of complex assemblies, working closely with our Projects & Production Engineering departments.
