    Food Compliance Advisor
    This is a Full-Time role hours per week / Monday to Friday

    Salary:
    £40k-£45k with car allowance for extensive travel in the South of England
    Full Time / Field Based in South of England
    (You need to live in the geographical location of the nurseries you will be visiting)

    As Food Compliance Advisor, you will work closely with both the Food and Nutrition Manager, as well as our Nursery Managers, to ensure food policies and procedures are understood and adhered to within all settings within your allocated portfolio.

    This in turn will ensure the high-quality practice and safety is delivered to all children within our care.

    responding to queries and escalating to Food and Nutrition Manager when required.
    Investigate all food related breaches as directed by the Food and Nutrition Manager with onsite visits undertaken to a) investigate and b) support nurseries with actions/ repeated issues to provide targeted support.
    Chef training with new menus / policy / procedures / induction
    Support with new acquisitions and the employee transition to BH Food and Mealtime Policy and Procedures
    Support with health care plans which are specifically related to food and feeding.

    Support the Food and Nutrition Manager in the provision and implementation of food safety training packages, including but not limited to, the kitchen manual, mealtime safety, allergen awareness.

    Creation of newsletters and updates for food safety related matters.

    On site attendance at nurseries to provide face to face chef training including new acquisitions, new Chef starters, or nurseries where there have been significant actions raised following an investigation.

    Contribute to projects that have a requirement for expert input, as directed by the Food and Nutrition Manager
    Experience working with adults in a coaching / training capacity
    Full, clean driving licence
    Level 3 Food Safety
    Level 4 Food Safety (Desirable, or willingness to undertake)
    Minimum 2 years working in food safety role.
