    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen to support our friendly and dynamic Maternity practice development team at Frimley Park Hospital.

    This role is hours per week and for approximately one year to cover maternity leave starting in May 2024.

    Main duties of the job

    The post holder will be required to;

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the maternity practice development team based at Frimley Park Hospital.
  • The post holder will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks, including having personal responsibility for a number of delegated tasks.
  • To maintain a confidential approach to work at all times.

    Job description

    Job responsibilities

    The post holder will be expected to liaise closely on a day to day basis with a variety of maternity staff, other departments and members of the public.

    There will be a close working relationship with the maternity multidisciplinary team including clinicians, maternity staff, ward clerks and other departments especially trust wide practice development.

    The post holder will be expected to adhere to trust policies and procedures referring to designated line manger when needed.

    You will be educated to NVQ Level 3/A level or equivalent experience. You will have a broad range of administration /clerical skills including excellent IT skills excel, word, email and clinical systems RL6/InPhase, Evolve, MAST and OLM.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • NVQ level 3/A level or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with clinical records and use of clinical systems or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Ability to manage data and spread sheets.
  • Experience of taking accurate meeting minutes and distributing minutes in a timely manner.
  • Desirable

  • Qualification in information and communication technology
  • Experience of working in the NHS
  • Knowledge of NHS terminology and procedures
