    Job Description

    Your daily role will consist of leading a team of technicians, taking on responsibility for the below areas:

    • Deputise the IT Workshop Manager.
    • Escalation point for IT Workshop technicians, stakeholders, and the wider business.
    • Oversee stock control and the re-ordering of stock.
    • Coaching and mentoring your team.
    • Identify & drive continual service improvement initiatives.
    • Develop IT Workshop procedures, removing old and creating new where appropriate.
    • Provide feedback through one-to-one performance reviews & appraisals.
    • Hold team meetings 1-to-1s and return to work interviews for your team members.
    • Ensure your team's targets are met:
    • Work with project managers and other teams to ensure projects and rollouts are delivered on time and to schedule.
    • New store kits are configured and delivered on-time and complete.
    • Various workshops are always stocked with required kit.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • Experienced and confident leader.
    • Experienced with policies and procedures and enforcing them.
    • Able to manage self and others during pressured situations.
    • Able to confidently make decisions and delegate work effectively to maximize output.
    • Excellent time management and organization skills.
    • Understanding of stock control and asset management principles.
    • Base understanding of IT security and data protection principles.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to talk to any level of authority.
