    Partnerships & Marketing Executive, Superyacht Tech Event

    The Superyacht Technology Show is changing the sector through technology.

    We are a leading promoter of luxury technology within the superyacht sector, specialising in creating unparalleled experiences for industry professionals. Our principal event taking place in Barcelona in March 2025 showcases the epitome of luxury, elegance and cutting-edge innovation in the world of superyachts.

    We are dedicated to delivering valuable networking, unforgettable experiences and trade shows for tech industry professionals in the luxury maritime sector. Our unique event was established 4 years ago, and we have ambitious yet achievable growth ambitions for the future. To get there, we are growing our dynamic team, and looking for driven individuals to help us achieve our vision.

    We are currently recruiting a Partnerships and Marketing Executive to help us drive attention and engagement for the 2025 show, building on constructive feedback from 2024. This role will be pivotal in establishing and nurturing relationships with our network of Buyers and Exhibitors, working alongside our Sales and Marketing team.

    This role would ideally suit a candidate with experience of working in either the tech B2B or luxury sectors. Events experience would be advantageous. Also, we are a small but fast-paced and dynamic team, so ability to align with the pace and style of how we work will be critical to success. The ideal candidate must be able to make a 12-month commitment until May 2025.

    Location: Hybrid/Remote – must have the ability to attend regular in-person meetings in Bath

    Travel: Some UK and European travel will be required (min 6 weeks in 12 month period)

    Contract Type: 12 month Fixed-Term Contract, Salaried or Freelance

    Remuneration: Negotiable salary/freelance rate depending upon experience

    Job Description:

    As a Partnerships and Marketing Executive for our luxury superyacht event, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing relationships with our network of Buyers and Exhibitors, working alongside our Sales and Marketing team. You will execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our events and drive attendance. Your experience in relationship management and marketing will contribute to enhancing our brand presence, engaging our target audience and ensuring the success of each event.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with Buyers, Exhibitors and Partners, prioritising quick responses and proactive management of multiple relationships, leveraging CRM.

    Act as the primary point of contact for potential show attendees, addressing enquiries and resolving issues with speed, efficiency and commercial savvy.

    Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and Events to ensure a superior buyer and client experience across all touchpoints, including on-site presence at events as needed.

    Implement strategic marketing plans to promote our luxury superyacht events, targeting yacht owners, yacht management companies, shipyards, sector professionals and relevant stakeholders.

    Execute compelling marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email marketing, print, and partnerships, to maximize reach and engagement.

    Oversee the production of marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, promotional videos, and website content, ensuring alignment with brand standards and messaging.

    Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to optimize marketing efforts, track campaign performance, and measure ROI, adjusting as necessary to achieve objectives.

    Collaborate closely with colleagues, external agencies, sponsors, and partners to coordinate marketing activities and leverage resources effectively.

    Prepare reports and presentations on marketing performance, insights, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.

    Represent our brand professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and forge strategic partnerships.

    Requirements:

    Proven experience (3 years) in a partnerships, marketing or account management role, preferably within the events or luxury sectors and an understanding of a B2B audience.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture client relationships, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work remotely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and analytics tools.

    Demonstrable success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, driving audience engagement, and achieving measurable results.

    Knowledge of event management software such as Zoho Backstage is desirable but not essential; willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies is essential.

    Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail including copywriting and proofreading, a passion for luxury lifestyle, and a deep understanding of target audience preferences and market trends.

    Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, events, business administration, or related field.
