We are currently recruiting for an experienced Gas Operations Manager to join our team in the South. This role will be a mobile position where you will be providing leadership, guidance and ensuring compliance is maintained for the company. Responsible for overseeing the gas operations (including installation, maintenance, and repairs), mechanical and plumbing install work. You will be working with our team of engineers to ensure that all work is being completed to a high standard and providing training where needed.

Responsibilities:

To be the Gas Safe responsible person for the company.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of gas operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Management of Plumbing, Heating and Gas engineers. Providing leadership, guidance and mentoring to ensure high quality is achieved as standard.
• Provide technical guidance.
• To comply and keep up to date with Gas Safety Standards/Water regulations.
• To complete site surveys, quotations for works.
• Maintain training programs ensuring engineers are correctly trained for the activities they undertake.
• To complete internal audits on mechanical and gas engineers works to ensure compliance.
• Review test certification.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of gas usage, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Commercial gas qualification COCN1, CIGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1
• NVQ Level 3 Plumbing and heating.
• Competent in using Excel and Word
• Experience in mechanical and plumbing install works.
• Water Regulations, Unvented Cylinders, Legionella, HVAC Experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
