Contact Management Command is the Engine Room of Essex Police, as the initial point of contact for members of the public, external agencies and police officers and staff.

Contact happens across all types of diverse communication channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to undertake the role of Digital Operations Lead in Contact Management Command.

You will deliver continuous improvement in digital contact for the command exploring future opportunities and working collaboratively with partners externally and internally.

You will also support in development across digital contact solutions and technology and future options to the command team.


You will be able to demonstrate experience of harnessing technology and working collaboratively to deliver a highly professional service, focused on what's best for the public.

Provide evidence of making best use of technology to improve service delivery.

Provide evidence of working with and influencing others to achieve a common goal.

Provide evidence of your experience of working with a range of communication channels.

It is desirable that you can also provide evidence in the following areas:

Essex Police offer agile working which allows some flexibility in terms of work arrangements. Due to the operational nature of this role, it will be predominantly office based within an office-based team. Some travel may be required to other police sites to discharge duty.


Essex Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £29,874.00.
