    Built Environment Consultant
    This role will be working from our Glasgow office with hybrid and flexible working options available.

    The Intelligent Community Lifecycle (ICL) is a suite of digital twin technology developed by IES that facilitates the planning, design and operation and optimisation of energy efficient and sustainable cities, communities, campuses, portfolios, buildings and local energy networks.

    The ICL Customer Success Team sits at the core of the organisation, providing technical support to external clients with the primary aim of enabling new users to successfully utilise the ICL within their business.

    Internally, the team supports most departments, including Sales, Consultancy, R&D, Software Development and Marketing.

    The successful candidate will be a client-facing, problem solver who is technically strong in their area-of-expertise, and looking to further their career by specialising in applying cutting-edge technology in real industry applications (AEC, Commercial real estate, manufacturing, Public Sector, etc).

    Whilst this role is for the ICL Customer Success Team, like all team members, there will be opportunities to support other departments depending on your background and skillset, including Consultancy.

    Provide practical advice and operational support to enable partners and customers to utilise the ICL within their business
    Collaborate with Business Development Managers to provide technical support for client meetings, bids, demos and workshops
    Responsible for coordinating technical support and training of partners and customers
    Collaborate with the marketing team to provide technical support with marketing material and website content
    Prepare and deliver webinars to support targeted campaigns
    Collect and collate market intelligence for use across the business
    Experience using IES VE or other energy modelling software
    Educated to degree level in a relevant science or engineering subject (i.e. building services, architectural engineering)
    Minimum of two years' relevant experiencewithin a consultancy environment
    Awareness of issues surrounding the decarbonisation of the built environment
    Commercial awareness
    Ability to write technical reports to high quality
    Knowledge of voluntary environmental rating schemes such as LEED, BREEAM, NABERS etc.
    Awareness of digital technologies across the construction sector
