As Mechanical Estimator
You will be an essential team member responsible for assisting in the preparation of accurate costings for projects.

Be responsible for the day-to-day estimating activities will include costing of a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.

# Generate detailed mechanical take-offs for turnkey commercial projects which will involve liaising with a wide range of suppliers to obtain accurate quotations for specialist equipment.
# Obtaining estimates and prices from suppliers and building our network of suppliers.
# Following up tenders and securing projects.
# Create submittals register for the projects.
# Liaise with our contract managers, procurement department & wider commercial department to generate a seamless link from initial costing through to design, installation, and completion for each project.
# Attend site meetings where required both pre and post contract award.
# Prepare handover documentation & attend internal post award meetings for successful projects to discuss and review breakdown of estimate with pre-con teams.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a Mechanical Estimating role. Experience working on projects across a variety of industries such as Residential, Commercial, and Pharma/Healthcare. Commercial awareness. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Competitive salary
