    Experienced Finance/Accounting and Management professional to lead and own a broad range of finance responsibilities.

    Responsibilities include leadership and supervision of a technical accounting team responsible for consolidations and equity accounting, transaction accounting, and technical assessments and guidance.

    The role will work closely with the Core Accounting and Statutory & Consolidated Financial Reporting functions to ensure compliance with US GAAP financial reporting, statutory reporting, and internal policies and controls.

    This position will be remote, based in the United States.
    Oversee global consolidations and accounting for equity, intangibles, and intercompany transactions.
    Create, maintain, and apply the Company's accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP.
    Perform technical accounting research and advise financial operations and accounting teams of appropriate treatment.
    Align company policy with accounting standards.

    Act as a liaison with corporate development, general counsel and the legal team, external valuation specialists, and external auditors for business combinations and asset acquisitions.

    Responsible for preparing and overseeing transaction accounting, including M&A and other ad-hoc transactions.

    Act as a liaison with local accounting and audit firms to understand and maintain compliance with local regulatory environments and statutory financial reporting.

    Assist the Financial Reporting team with preparation of footnotes for statutory and US GAAP financial statements.
    Responsible for timely and accurate consolidated financial reporting for ownership areas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

    Ensure that regular on-going communication occur with technical accounting team and other finance teams to create awareness of business objectives, communicate expectations, and recognize performance.

    Leverage technology and effectively use information systems and tools to generate financial reports and provide managers with analytical support to drive decision making.

    Responsible for working effectively with all levels of management.
    Advocate sound financial/business decision making and accountability.
    BA in Accounting (or Finance/Econ with extensive coursework of accounting as an academic discipline).
    MBA or MA degree in business discipline, CPA, preferred.
    8+ years of experience with increasing responsibility in Corporate/Financial Accounting and/or Auditing.
    Ability to articulate accounting and finance issues cross functionality.
    Proficiency in excel.
    Experience with other financial software and tools preferred (Blackline).
