The Growth Company's (GC) Employment team have an exciting new opportunity for Project Coordinator To provide comprehensive administrative support, accurate record keeping, robust communication and coordination of participants across the Ministry of Justice Services.


We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people on probation throughout Merseyside and beyond, by supporting individuals to improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

Our highly skilled keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have been released from custody and others serving community sentences, to those with complex needs such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, and a wide range of personal wellbeing requirements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate the booking and rebooking of venues for the delivery 11 and group training of all participants of the Ministry of Justice Services.
  • Liaise with Key Workers with regard to diary management and sessions available.
  • Communicate with Probation Officers, ensuring timely, accurate relay of information.
  • Take telephone referrals and enquiries, relay messages, ensuring attention to detail and confidentiality and professionalism is kept at all times.
  • Assist with the Employment Mentor and/or Key Worker electronic diary, book appointments for participants and issue appointment times and dates immediately on receipt of referrals.
  • Manage difficult and challenging participant' situations, ensuring managers are communicated with regarding any potential issues.

About you:


  • Resilience, methodical and calm under pressure.
  • A warm, approachable style to delivery is required to build relationships and rapport.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Skills Required:


  • Previous administration experience would be an advantage, specifically within a funded, contracted environment.
  • To be able to work with internal booking systems would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work towards targets, KPI's and be able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of all computer packages including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to undertake training as required.
