Experience of working with children with SEN and ASC/behavioural difficulties would be an advantage.

Lansbury Bridge School & Sports College is a generic special school which caters for 222 children and young people, aged 3-16.

All of our pupils have complex needs and have an EHCP in place.

The majority of pupils have profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties while over 50% also have a diagnosis of ASC.

A number have additional sensory, physical and medical difficulties.
We have high expectations of our staff, in order to get the best outcomes for our wonderful pupils.

Routine, structure and the support of consistent staff is of great benefit for our pupils, therefore reliable staff with great attendance records are encouraged to be a part of our team.

Purpose of the Role:


To work with and supervise individuals and groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of specific individual learning needs, enabling access to learning for all pupils and assistance and support in classroom management and behaviour techniques.
