    Description

    We're looking for a creative, enthusiastic and digital-savvy midweight Designer to join the Art team here at The Stylist Group for a 12 month maternity cover.

    Our ambition is to create content that our audiences are proud to consume, and as designer on the commercial team, you should be excited at the prospect of making our branded content look great.

    To design commercial advertorials and pitch work for both print and digital (web and social).


    • Attend commercial briefings and present work and mock-ups back to the Art Director and Content teams.
    • To assist in the production for photoshoots, including moodboards, selecting photographers and casting.
    • To liaise with repro and print partners to ensure that all print brands look as good as possible.
    • To build and maintain a strong network across the teams.
    • To assist the Art Editor and Art Director in introducing new talent to our artist contacts, drive creative change and innovation and proactively contribute to suggestions that could help drive the business forward.
    Deep print and digital understanding of commercial products offered by The Stylist Group.


    • Proficient in the Adobe Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator.
    • A passion to explore new digital trends and products - understanding the necessary skills to create innovative new formats.
    • Desire to approach challenges with a solutions-based attitude that support the sales, content and production teams in delivering exceptional campaigns.
    • Ensure the quality is upheld and delivered on time, according to client expectations.
    Personable with strong communication skills and ability to forge strong networks and relationships.

    • Hunger and drive to bring executional excellence to the Art team.
    • Ability to give and receive open and honest feedback - essential in creating a strong team culture and helping elevate standard of the overall team.
    • Extremely organised with strong people skills and an eye for quality and detail.
    • This is a full-time, temporary position for 12 months, working 35 hours per week from our London Office. The role presents the opportunity for hybrid working that must include regular office attendance.
