Part-time (30hrs) Purchase Ledger Assistant / Leicester / Permanent / Up to £24,500 (FTE) / Office Based
Macildowie are thrilled to be partnered with this heritage manufacturing brand based in Leicester.


Your Main responsibilities will be:


  • Receive and record invoices from suppliers
  • Match and process invoices with their matching receipts
  • Make sure invoices are approved in time and to meet payment cycles
  • Retain and keep up to date a solid understanding of the finance systems along with all the other internal systems that Accounts Payable use
  • To support & deal with supplier queries
  • Collaboration within other areas of the business with regards to Accounts Payable
  • To enable and reach conflict resolution with suppliers in an appropriate manner
  • To be able to carry out statement reconciliations on supplier accounts
  • To understand and support the achievement of all departmental KPIs
  • Work within tight deadlines for month end processes

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have had experience in a fast-paced working environment
  • Have a good understanding of the endtoend purchase ledger process
  • Be flexible and willing to adapt and support other areas of the team when needed
  • Excel skills to V-Look Up and Pivots ideal but not essential
