Managing DirectorLocation: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)Our client, a leading alternative asset manager is searching for a new Managing Director who can support their Global MD as they look to expand their portfolio across the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia.

This is a newly created work due to the expansion of the business. The focus will be Renewable Energy. The team spans Investment, Asset Management & Development.

This role will suit someone with a background in Investment / Fund Management within Renewables who has a strong track record.

The role:

Strong and demonstrable leadership capacitySupport Global MD on the day-to-day execution of the strategy with particular emphasis on international expansionFocus on international investment and fund managementSupport divisional heads with key aspects of day-to-day team management, oversight and execution.

Investment - International product development across renewables, fundraising and supporting/leading investment teamsAsset management - supporting the team and improving processesWorking with other senior members to drive the business forwardThe individual:Background in Investment/fund management within Renewable energyLeading and Managing Energy InvestmentsExperience in developing and launching a fundExperience outside of the UK marketInvestment track recordTeam Management experienceDiscipline(s): Energy, ESG & Green Tech FinanceJob type: Permanent
