    Description

    We are excited to be recruiting for a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to work in our busy Supply Chain office for the DPM Department.

    This is fixed term position working 40 hours a week on a rotating timetable with a salary of between £28,000 to £34,000 per annum depending on experience.

    1. Daily Line Production Scheduling

    a. Deliver cost effective efficient daily plan to production, optimising stock utilisation.

    b. Plan to include all meat, ingredients and packaging needed for the day.

    c. Any variances called out from the service departments and dealt with ahead of it impacting efficiency or service to the customer.

    d. Liaising with all stakeholders e.g. engineering, technical, NPD

    2. Recipe management

    a. Links to efficient plan on the above point

    b. Ensuring call outs are adhered to by the team to limit/eliminate write off.

    3. Dashboards and Forecast Processing -

    a. By customer weekly within the dashboard, inventory optimisation

    b. Run counter and manufacturing dashboards daily to aid stock rotation, defrost, planning tool.

    c. Some level of primal planning also required, counters and B2B primal demand.

    4. TIMs Amendments

    a. Daily variances, liaison with Tesco; manipulating the data within the dashboard to make those decisions quickly.

    b. Ensuring both Tesco and Kepak systems are the same to avoid an RTS.

    c. Checking that transport are ok with any increases, and where significant decreases are applied let them know in a timely manner so loads can be consolidated to reduce transport costs.

    d. Where an RTS appears on the system, do the investigation and request it is accepted if it is not a valid RTS,

    e. Keeping Sales Ledger involved for invoicing purposes.

    5. Replenishment

    a. Provide weekly forecast figures to the relevant teams.

    Requirements

    1. KPIs

    a. Service levels - In-house to the Merthyr team daily, and to the wider group as a weekly top-level view

    b. Plan attainment reporting

    c. Daily Pulse Call KPIs

    2. Working with Production and Finance, to ensure:

    a. One liner is reflecting the '£' decisions that are being made.

    b. Recipe optimisation- looking at recipe toleration and costed blends.

    c. PPV – clearing lower stocked items at cost price, to show a benefit.

    i. Where a higher value has been used to avoid gaps in supply this will be shown as an adverse PPV. Efficiency, longer runs, not running long life SKUs every day.

    d. Plan attainment – Measuring Planned V Actual

    e. Rework Root cause with reasons for the 9am stock call ref 92/94

    f. Minimal Waste

    g. Shop Floor Optimisation (PPKG)

    3. Sales Interfacing – direct 'Supply Chain to Supply Chain' dialogue with customer; joined up and transparent approach.

    4. Link forward FC to capacity and allocating crews/workload accordingly.

    5. Coldstore stock call offs and defrost schedules to meet customer demand and shelf-life profile.
