HAZARDOUS WASTE EXPERIENCED SITE CHEMIST WITH SEVERAL YEARS EXEPRIENCE, OR EXPERIENCE IN A SUPERVISORY ROLE REQUIRED TO WORK AT A BUSY RECEPTION SITE & TRANSFER STATION

Taking and analysing hazardous waste samples including liquids (including acids, alkalis, oils, petrol, effluent, and diesel), coatings, paints, thinners.

Loading and unloading hazardous waste from vehicles
Leading a team (depending on experience)
Ensuring compliance within Safety, Environmental and Company policy
Preparation of processed waste streams for National Distribution
You will have at least 1-2 Years for a chemist and 3-5 years' experience for a Senior Chemist working in the Hazardous Waste Sector

You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel.

YOU WILL HAVE a HNC in Chemistry or higher. Biology or Forensics will be considered ideally at Degree level where sufficient Chemistry modules were included
FLT License
IOSH of NEBOSH safety qualification or similar
