DE&S (Defence Equipment & Support) are currently recruiting for Solutions Developers to join one of our forward thinking and progressive teams based in Bristol giving you a fantastic chance to form an integral part of our IM&IT (Information Management &Information Technology) function.

There are multiple posts available across a number of teams and departments.

About the role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Identify, define and propose multiple options for software or systems development to decide the most effective way of meeting business requirements, in collaboration with BA's.
  • Design, create, test and document new and amended software components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes.
Person specification

  • Experience of Software Engineering & Delivery within an organisation
  • Experience in an Agile delivery environment
  • Experience of Power Apps
It would also be great if you can demonstrate any of the following desirable criteria:

  • Familiarity in Kanban and Scrum
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, etc.
