    Description

    I am partnering with an established UK developer (PV/BESS) to search for an experienced planner to join the planning team, the projects will be utility-scale ground-mount solar and battery storage across the UK. They develop, own, and operate the assets and have all functions in-house, including, development, finance, engineering, and legal.

    Some of the key responsibilities include:


    • Preparation and coordination of planning applications, including pre-application and EIA screening and scoping reports.


    • Policy research and evaluation.


    • Organising and attending public consultation events.


    • Liaising and assisting with the wider team (land, technical).


    • Liaising with external consultants, stakeholders, and local authorities

    The Ideal Candidate Will Have:


    • Relevant environmental or planning degree.


    • Proven technical abilities and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Planning and EIA/environmental legislation in the UK.


    • A minimum of 5 years experience


    • Experience with renewable energy or DCO/NSIP projects.
