    Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Oxfordshire - EV / Motorsport - £50k - £60k

    One of my key clients who specialise in the Motorsport, Automotive and EV space looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their team of engineers developing and supporting electrical & electronic solutions use on their race, rally and road projects.

    Role: Senior Electrical Design Engineer

    Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)

    Location: Oxfordshire

    Working Arrangement: Primarily on site, options for flexibility

    Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the company's electrical design team to devise electrical solutions for our motorsport products.
    • Develop electrical systems for both on-vehicle and off-vehicle applications, including harnesses, actuators, sensors, and control units.
    • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults systematically, encompassing both hardware and software issues.
    • Create production drawings for electrical harnesses and components.
    • Generate comprehensive documentation, both for internal use and customer-facing purposes, aiding in electrical installations.
    • Manage the release of parts and assembly structures into the bill of materials.
    • Collaborate with other departments and customers to facilitate the construction and testing of parts, systems, and vehicles.

    Who We Are Looking For:

    • Bachelor's degree in Motorsport, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
    • Profound understanding of automotive or motorsport electrical systems.
    • Thorough knowledge of relevant communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
    • Proficiency in computer usage and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience with Zuken E3 is advantageous.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Thrives in a fast-paced work setting and can effectively manage workload.
    • Willingness to travel and provide support during events or testing.
