    Health & Safety /CDM Advisor (House Building) - North East

    DM Safety & Health Services are an independent National Health & Safety Consultancy based in the North West. Founded in 2008, the company has grown rapidly by delivering quality HSE services across many sectors.

    Due to our continued growth, an opportunity has arisen to expand our team of Health & Safety Professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to drive our Client`s industry leading H & S Culture.     The Role

    Reporting to the Managing Director/National Accounts Supervisor, you will be required to provide HSE support to multiple sites across the Newcastle & North East area.

    You will be responsible for :

    • Carrying out Site Inspections and Site Support Visits,
    • Providing technical & HSE support to Site Management Teams
    • Undertaking targeted monthly checks
    • Attending monthly meetings
    • Supporting Client Regional HSE Advisor
    • Finding practical solutions to issues that arise on site
    • Interacting with site management teams and building trust & solid working relationship`s
    • Incident and accident investigation
    • Carrying out External PC / Client Inspections
    • Delivering In House training for operatives and management teams.

    About You:

    Qualifications, experience and training:

    • UK Based Construction / House Building experience
    • NEBOSH General /Construction Certificate.
    • 5 years' experience in a similar role (desirable)
    • Available Immediately
    • UK Driving Licence

    Personal Abilities:

    • The desire to drive the continuous improvement of H & S on site
    • The personality to interact with workforce & management alike.
    • The ability to produce detailed , informative reports in a timely manner.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • The ability to manage your diary efficiently
    • Excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to build relationships.
    • The willingness to travel (Some occasional overnight stays will be required)
