ABOUT THE ROLE:
If you have technical expertise and an analytical mindset, as well as excellent communication skills and a natural ability to motivate and lead others, we need you on our team.
As Team Leader, you'll work with us to manage a small team of Technicians and you will take the lead on prioritising tasks and organising warranty repairs, whilst liaising with the customer to ensure train availability and reliability targets are achieved.
As Team Leader, you will be relied upon for technical support, working alongside a team of Technicians to diagnose faults and conduct root cause analysis for an advanced fleet across a range of systems (electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic), using a combination of electrical schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic software.

ABOUT WHAT WE PAY:
As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £53,000 per annum.
ABOUT YOU:
To succeed in the role, you're a natural communicator and collaborator with the ability to motivate others to drive for results.
You have an NVQ Level 3 in electrical/ mechanical engineering (or equivalent) plus extensive post qualifying experience under your belt, and can demonstrate a wide knowledge of on-board train systems.
You have experience in detecting faults and carrying out root cause analysis across multiple systems and are capable of interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams, as well as being proficient in using diagnostic software, and test and measuring equipment.
You hold a valid driver's license and have a flexible approach to working varying shifts including weekends, and both day and night shifts.
