We undertake the role of Main/Principal Contractor within the Water, Industrial, MOD, and Power Sectors. This includes all aspects of New Build, Refurbishment, Civil Engineering and MEICA Projects.We believe our biggest asset is our personnel.
With extensive experience within these areas of construction between the Directors, we aim to be pivotal in galvanising the design teams, subcontractors, and supply chain to ensure each project is carried out safely, within programme, to budget and of the highest quality.
We are looking for a project manager to run a large Civil, MEICA projects within the water industy.Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction phase of our projects, ensuring contracts are delivered on time, on budget and fulfilling contractual obligations.
To achieve the financial objectives and targets set for all contracts.Take responsibility and ownership of named contracts and ensure delivery is in accordance with the contract conditions, customers requirements and Company Directors.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.Ensure high standards of quality & workmanship at all times to meet the requirements expected by the Company Directors and our customers.
to determine the specifications of the projects and produce adequate designs where required.Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
Prepare and maintain contract documentation in accordance with the company's IMS
Recruitment, training, management leadership & disciplinary matters with all personnel.
To operate, manage and control the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety systems.
To minimise where ever possible waste as a direct result of operations, and that proper and effective standards of housekeeping are maintained.
BSc, CIOB, BTEC, National Diploma or similar in relevant field.Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), IOSH Managing Safely or similar approved would be an advantage.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
In depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
Able to produce and review safe systems of work including method statements and risk
assessments and COSHH risk assessments.
Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field.
Computer skills in particular use of Microsoft Office packages.
Familiarity with construction/project management software i.e. Microsoft Excel & Project.
Organisational and time management skills.
