We have an exciting opportunity to join our Dietetic team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital for the position of B6 Diabetes Dietitian. The role offers a variety of benefits, including flexible and hybrid working options, as well as professional development opportunities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and dedicated Dietitian to work as part of our Multidisciplinary Diabetes Team at the Stephanie Marks Centre at Ashford and St Peters Hospital. The team provides expert Diabetes dietary advice, structured education, and training related to diabetes management for patients and their caregivers.
Key responsibilities include managing dietary care planning for patients using Diabetes Insulin pumps, glucose monitors, and hybrid closed loop systems, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to improve health and quality of life.
Main Duties of the Job
The Diabetes Dietetic team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital provides nutrition and dietetic services to patients, including structured education for diabetes management. The role involves working with the Band 7 Diabetes Dietitian to oversee the Insulin Pump service and provide dietary advice to patients and caregivers.
The successful candidate will actively contribute to the Dietetic Department's operations and participate in student training.
