    Management Accountant Leeds up to £50,000 + benefits

    Reporting to the Division Financial Controller you will further develop your accounting and commercial skills in this manufacturing business. As Management Accountant you will undertake a broad and interesting role working closely with the operations team and reporting highly quality and timely management accounts and performance analysis to Head Office.

    Here's a brief overview of your Management Accountant responsibilities:

    • Production of division management accounts and business performance reports
    • Division forecasting and variance analysis reporting
    • Working capital and Fixed Assets reporting
    • Project accounting and cost centre reviews
    • Cost accounting and analysis
    • Looking for ways to improve the quality of business information to add value to decision making processes

    To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

    • Qualified or part qualified accountant ( CIMA or equivalent)
    • Prior experience of working in a manufacturing / engineering business
    • Proven capability of producing timely and accurate management accounts
    • Excellent IT skills including Excel and SAP
    • Great communication skills - able to work effectively with finance and operations staff
    • Inquisitive, ambitious and dedicated to advancing your career
