    Job Title: Regional Engagement Manager (Business Development & Recruitment)

    Location: Predominantly field base around Greater London

    Job Summary:

    We are offering an exciting opportunity for a driven Regional Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team to initially support on our GLA Adult Skills contract. This role is ideal for those with a strong passion for recruitment of employers and strong DWP engagement, eager to excel in a business development capacity. Responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying candidates, managing pre-employment training courses, and spearheading business development efforts across assigned regions.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Source and conduct interviews with candidates both face-to-face and via telephone to fill job vacancies and enrol on pre-employment training courses.

    Build and sustain relationships with referral partners, external agencies, and local communities to enhance candidate referrals and uncover job opportunities.

    Adhere to Job Centre Plus (JCP) guidelines and cultivate productive relationships.

    Develop leads for employer vacancies at both regional and national levels, assisting Business Development Managers (BDMs) with their sales and marketing tactics.

    Monitor and report on key performance indicators for the department, providing insights and detailed reports on regional activities aligned with learner and agency requirements.

    Coordinate and participate in recruitment and marketing events, advocating the organisation's mission and values, and actively engage with local communities.

    Uphold compliance with the organisation's Equality and Diversity policies and contribute to the maintenance of quality assurance and health and safety standards.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    Work closely with progression coordinators to optimise employment results.

    Engage in strategic business-to-business sales, including both in-person and virtual meetings, to promote pre-employment courses and connect with potential employers.

    Keep abreast of industry trends, attend relevant conferences, and conduct sales presentations.

    Maintain detailed records of employer interactions and feedback on training initiatives.

    Person Specification:

    Demonstrated ability in recruitment, networking, and a business-to-business sales setting, preferably within the Further Education (FE) and training sectors.

    Exceptional project management skills, capable of meeting strict deadlines and surpassing sales targets.

    Excellent communication abilities, adept in both written and verbal formats, with strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.

    A strategic and tenacious thinker with a professional approach, skilled at initiating and cultivating new business opportunities.
