- Lead the design and architecture of analytics and AI solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and reliability.
- Work closely with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate NLP models into our analytics solutions, enabling advanced text analytics capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to development teams during the implementation phase, ensuring best practices and adherence to architectural standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends in analytics, AI, and cloud computing, and make recommendations for their adoption to enhance our solution offerings.
- Conduct performance optimisation, scalability assessments, and security reviews for existing and proposed architectures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft Azure services, providing mentorship and training to team members as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience architecting and implementing solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, including proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Cognitive Services.
- Strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and frameworks, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying NLP models for text analytics applications.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, microservices architecture, and cloud-native design patterns.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex analytics and AI projects from conception to deployment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are highly desirable.
