Inclusive Consulting is thrilled to be partnering with our client, an engineering business, to offer an opportunity to join their team as a Payroll Administrator.
We are looking for an individual with proven payroll and project implementation experience to support the business by taking on a variety of responsibilities, including supporting the existing team through a period of change and supporting on end-to end processing of monthly payroll.
You will be joining an established and capable team within a fantastic business, at an exciting time in their growth trajectory.
You will need a strong interest in payroll, and a willingness to grow and develop within the team, as well as excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly payroll to ensure all colleagues are paid correctly and on time.
- Calculation of statutory and ad hoc payments and deductions, in line with legislation.
- Maintain the company's time & attendance system, including checking, inputting and approval of time and attendance data.
- Preparation of documentation for 3rd parties, e.g. HMRC, pension providers, etc.
- Produce payroll analysis and reports for internal and external use.
- Complete pension autoenrolments.
- Produce month end reporting and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Process year end and ensure all employees receive required documents e.g. P60's, P11D.
- Provide coaching and ongoing support to managers on how to effectively use the payroll and time & attendance systems.
- Support the Finance and Accounting teams with budgeting and forecasting data.
- Provide cover for the Payroll Supervisor as and when required.
Key requirements:
- Proven payroll experience
- Strong interest in Payroll & willingness to grow and develop with team
- Display excellent interpersonal skills & professionalism
- Strong organisational skills & multitasking abilities
- Strong IT Skills, particularly MS Excel.
- Experience using payroll software, accounting packages and time & attendance systems.
- A keen eye for detail and numeracy accuracy.
- Knowledge of PAYE is advantageous.

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
