Are you a talented and ambitious Employment Associate with a passion for sports? Do you thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? Our client, a market-leading firm in the sports and media sectors, is seeking a talented individual to join their exciting employment law team in Manchester.


What awaits you in this role:

  • Joining an outstanding team that offers a breadth of work across the sports and media sectors.
  • Engaging in highquality, varied, and interesting employment work.
  • Working on football transactional documentation and associated regulatory matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating service agreements for highprofile senior executives and employees in football and other sports.
  • Providing advice on employment issues across various sports, including support to other parts of the team.
  • Representing federations, leagues, clubs, players, athletes, agents, and other stakeholders in employmentrelated disputes before different dispute resolution forums.
  • Having the opportunity to work at the highest level in a soughtafter sector and develop your skills.
  • Being part of a widely varied caseload and contributing to the growth of the firm's employment work with the existing team.

What we're looking for:


  • Legally qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Officebased role with some hybrid working.
  • Extensive experience in employment law, both contentious and noncontentious.
  • Desired experience in tribunals.
  • Desirable but not essential experience advising on sports and media related matters.
