Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

The school is dedicated to creating well-rounded pupils through exceptional in-class provision and exciting extra-curricular programs.

They are looking for someone who is confident in leading classes and has a proven track record of creating engaging andmeaningful learning experiences for students.

The position starts immediately, with a competitive daily rate of £90-£110.

This is a unique opportunity to join a thriving school and make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.


Responsibilities:


  • Leading and supporting classes under the guidance of the teacher
  • Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Supporting the development of students through onetoone and small group interventions
  • Managing the classroom and promoting a positive learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to regular assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborating with teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students

Requirements:


  • A level 3 or higher teaching assistant qualification
  • Proven experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting the diverse needs of all students
